SERVICESWEBSITE DESIGN AND BUILD A website built to move one number.
We agree the number first: bookings, enquiries or sales. Then I design and build the site around it.

How EVie's rebuild moved app downloads.
EVie runs electric car and van hire across Jersey and Guernsey, and I rebuilt its website with another developer at ProcessLabs, the studio I co-founded.

Almost everything at EVie happens in the app, and the old site wasn't getting people there.
I refined the brand for the web and redesigned the site around one job: getting visitors into the app.
The site knows what you're on, so phones go straight to the right app store and desktop visitors get a QR code.
An interactive 3D model lets people look inside the fleet, and the vans fill with cargo so you can see what fits before you book.
It went live twelve weeks after the brief, and app download conversion rose 390%.
We spoke to five or six agencies before choosing, and I'm so glad we did: collaborative, insightful, and delivered far beyond expectations.
I've been the CMO who needed the site to sell.
At Oodles of Doodles I ran the brand across the UAE, the US and South Africa, and I built the sites myself, the region-aware main site and the headless Shopify store with same-day Dubai delivery, then set up the Klaviyo welcome flow that fed it. Shopify sales rose 42% in the first three months.
So I plan your site the way a marketing lead would. The copy is written before the design, each page is wireframed around the question it has to answer, and we agree what we're measuring before launch day.

TraffikPay's clients have often been turned away before.
TraffikPay is an Isle of Man broker that finds payment processing and banking for high-risk businesses, so the site has to earn trust quickly.
I designed and built it in Next.js with an animated globe, the hard numbers up front and clear routes to apply or book a call. In the first three months after launch, monthly applications rose 84%.
Callum is fast, and he understood our goals and the problems we'd had with other agencies straight away.

- ProcessLabs I co-founded this Jersey studio, then wrote its copy, made the identity and built a site where every service leads straight to the case studies behind it.
- Insert Affiliate I redesigned the marketing site around one action, booking a call, with new animation, conversion copy and SEO.
- ForgeProof For a KYC startup I co-founded, I built the marketing site, documentation and blog for its early access launch.
Most of my clients have outgrown a template.
They're founders, marketing leads and agencies who need the site to start earning its keep.
A GOOD FIT
- You can name the number the site has to move
- Your current site looks the part and doesn't convert
- Your team needs to edit pages without a developer
- You want the person planning the site to be the one building it
- You're an agency that needs a senior build partner on a client's site
PROBABLY NOT
- You need a five-page brochure site by Friday
- You want an agency team with account managers
- The brief is fixed and nobody wants it questioned
Send me the site you have now and the number it isn't moving, and I'll reply within a working day.
Every stage ends with something you can sign off.
You see the work at every stage, and you can click through a working version long before launch.
A call, then a written proposal
Thirty minutes on the number you want to move and what's in the way. If I'm the right person for it, you get the scope, the approach, the timeline and a fixed price in writing, with the reasoning behind each.
YOU END WITH
A written proposal with a fixed price.
Research, copy and wireframes
I read the market first: who you're up against, how your customers decide and where the current site loses them. The copy comes next, and every page is wireframed around it.
YOU END WITH
Copy and wireframes you've signed off.
Design and motion
The design system comes first, then every page built from it, with motion planned in from the start. I use AI tools to put more design rounds in front of you in the same weeks, and you steer it on screen while changes are cheap.
YOU END WITH
Designs you've clicked through and approved.
Build, launch and handover
You get a private link as soon as there's something to click, and your team learns the CMS before launch. The first month of fixes after launch is part of the project.
YOU END WITH
A live site your team runs, in accounts you own.
A full build runs six to twelve weeks depending on scope, and EVie's took twelve. When the date is the constraint, the fast track gets a page or a small site live in three to four weeks, built to the same standard with a shorter research phase.
Custom first, page builders when they fit.
Most of what I build is coded for your brand on a headless CMS. When another platform suits you better I'll set out the trade-offs before you choose, and every site gets these three things whichever it runs on.
- Fast on a phone Every page is built and tuned for speed on a phone, and on a custom build the front end is coded by hand. EVie's site scores 90+ on Lighthouse across the key metrics.
- A CMS your team runs Pages, posts, case studies and every headline are editable from day one, with roles for who can publish what. EVie's team update every page themselves.
- Built to be found Clean structure, schema and one page per topic go in at the build, when they're cheap to add, and analytics run from launch day.THE SEO PAGE

WHAT IT RUNS ON
- Custom (Next.js)
- It's my default: designed and coded for your brand, with a headless CMS your team edits and nothing to license.
- Shopify
- It's the right call when you sell online, as a custom theme or a headless store like the one I built for Oodles.
- Webflow or WordPress
- It suits a team that already works in one, or wants a visual editor to restyle marketing pages themselves.
- Another builder or CMS
- If your business already runs on something else, I build on it when moving off isn't worth the cost.
You get a fixed price in writing before anything is designed.
IN A WEBSITE PROJECT
- Positioning and the page messaging
- The copy, or an edit of yours
- Your identity sharpened, or a new one
- A design system with every page designed from it
- Motion planned as part of the design
- A front end built to be fast on a phone
- A CMS your team runs, with roles for who publishes
- Schema, search structure and analytics from launch day
- The first month of fixes after launch
I price each project after the first call, because the cost depends on the pages, the platform and how much of the brand work is already done. The scope, the timeline and the fixed price come in writing with the reasoning shown, and the price holds for that scope.
The code, the design files, the domain and the hosting accounts are in your name from the start, with no licence fees to me.
From launch the site is yours to run. If you want it to keep moving, a monthly retainer covers new pages and experiments against the number.
Three ways to work with me
PROJECT
A website, start to finish
A site with a clear scope and a fixed price, which I research, design and build end to end, with a working preview to click as it's built.
RETAINER
Kept moving after launch
Reserved days each month go where the site needs them most: new pages, experiments against the number, and the search and content work that compounds.
FOR AGENCIES
Part of your team
I work inside your process as the senior build partner on your clients' sites, white-label or credited, by project or by month.
What people ask before the first call
If yours isn't here, ask it in your first message.
COST AND TIME
How long does a website take?
A full build runs six to twelve weeks depending on scope, and EVie's took twelve. You get a private link to a working version as soon as there's something to click. When the date is the constraint, the fast track gets a page or a small site live in three to four weeks with a shorter research phase.
What does it cost?
It depends on the pages, the platform and how much of the brand work is already done, so I price each project after the first call. Before anything is designed, you get a written proposal with the scope, the timeline and a fixed price, and the reasoning behind each.
Redesign or rebuild?
If the structure underneath is sound and the problem is presentation, a redesign on the same platform is the cheaper answer. If the site is slow, hard to edit or built on something you've outgrown, a rebuild costs less over two years than patching. I'll tell you which after looking at it.
WORKING TOGETHER
Who writes the copy?
I do, working from interviews with you and the people who sell the work. If you have a writer, I set the structure and the messaging and they write into it. Either way, the copy is written before the design.
Can you work with my existing brand?
Yes, and most projects sharpen the identity you already have. Where the brand is holding the site back I'll say so, and we decide together how far to go.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes, as a senior build and digital partner working inside your process on your clients' sites, white-label or credited, by project or by month.
Do I own the site?
You do, outright. The code, the design files, the domain and the hosting accounts are in your name, and there are no licence fees to me. If we stop working together, you lose nothing.
What happens after launch?
Your team runs the CMS, which they'll have learned before launch, and anything that needs fixing in the first month is part of the project. After that the site is finished and yours, or a monthly retainer keeps it growing with new pages, experiments against the number, and the search and AI work that compounds over time.
What should your site be moving?
Tell me the number and what's in the way of it. The first step is a thirty-minute call about both.
